CODY Lyman High School had 11 students qualify for and participate in the All-State Music conference recently in Cody.

The All-State Music conference was held Jan. 15-17. It included two days of rehearsal and ended with a concert in which the students performed to culminate the conference.

Konner Legault received a special recognition as he received a four year award for participation in All-State band or orchestra. In addition, Lyndee Walker was chosen to sing in a small ensemble for the beginning number the choir sang.

Students are selected from all over the state through an audition process. Conductors for the All-State choir, band and orchestra are brought in from around the country and work with their various groups over the two days of rehearsal.

UCSD #6 music directors are proud of their students, according to Kaye Wilson.
