TOWN OF MOUNTAIN VIEW

JANUARY 2, 2019   7:00 P.M.

The January 2, 2018 Mountain View Town Council meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Scott Dellinger. Those present were Council President, Gina Tims and Council members, Tori Carter, Bryan Ayres and Jacob Porter, Clerk, Penny Robbins and Chief of Police, Brian Sparks.

Oath of Office was administered by Mayor Scott Dellinger to newly elected officials Bryan Ayres and Jacob Porter.

Motion by Gina Tims, second by Tori Carter to approve the agenda; motion carried.

Motion by Bryan Ayres, second by Jacob Porter to approve the December 18, 2018 minutes as presented; motion carried.

Mayor Dellinger announced his appointment of officials for council approval. Motion by Tori Carter, second by Bryan Ayres to the appointments of Clerk

Treasurer, Penny Robbins, Chief of Police, Brian Sparks and Municipal Judge, Mark Harris; motion carried.

Mayor Dellinger announced his board appointment for the next two years. Motion by Jacob Porter, second by Bryan Ayres to approve the following appointments, Bridger Valley Joint Powers Board, Gina Tims and Owen Peterson, Uinta County Joint Powers Fire Board, Bryan Ayres, Lincoln Uinta Revolving Loan Fund, Lewis Thomas, Uinta County Economic Development Board, Vacant and The Greater Bridger Valley Chamber of Commerce, Cindy Haggit; motion carried.

Motion by Tori Carter, second by Jacob Porter to move Financial Statement Disclosures to record; motion carried.

Motion by Bryan Ayres, second by Jacob Porter to pay the following bills; Brenntag Pacific Inc, Chemicals, $1379.50, Chemtech-Ford, Sewer Analysis, $296.00, Mountain View High School, Christmas Window, Ellingford Brothers Inc, Department Supplies, $1338.03, Fastenal, Shop, $264.12, Long Reimer Winegar Beppler, Attorney Fees, Dominion Energy, Gas Service, $609.05,Sam’s, Membership fee, $100.00, SOS Technologies, Oxygen Equipment Service, $333.00, The O.P. In other business, Mayor Scott Dellinger administered the oath to Jason Forsgren with the Lyman police department to assist the Mountain View officers in an emergency.

There being no more business to come before the town council, the meeting was adjourned at 7:07 p.m.

TOWN OF LYMAN WYOMING

Minutes of the Business Meeting held January 3, 2019

 Present were Mayor Berg, Councilmembers Andy Spray, Shane Hooton, Tansy Shelton and Dallas Sill, Public Works Director Jared Crane, Clerk Lisa Bradshaw, Chief Kathy Adams and Attorney Thayne Peterson.

Councilman Hooton made a motion to approve the agenda as amended, second by Councilman Spray, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Spray made a motion to approve the minutes of the December 20, 2018 business meeting and work session, second by Councilman Sill, motion carried unanimously.

RESOLUTION # 2019-01 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DESIGNATING SIGNATORIES FOR THE TOWN OF LYMAN ACCOUNTS. Councilwoman Shelton made a motion to approve Resolution # 2019-01, second by Councilman Sill, motion carried unanimously.

RESOLUTION # 2019-02 A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING 1ST BANK AS A DEPOSITORY BANK FOR BASIC MUNICIPAL ACCOUNTS OF THE TOWN OF LYMAN, WYOMING.  Councilman Sill made a motion to approve Resolution # 2019-02, second by Councilwoman Shelton, motion carried unanimously. 

RESOLUTION # 2019-03 A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE BRIDGER VALLEY PIONEER NEWSPAPER AS THE OFFICIAL DESIGNATED NEWSPAPER FOR THE TOWN OF LYMAN, WYOMING TO PUBLISH LEGAL NOTICES, ADVERTISE FOR BIDS, PRINT MINUTES OF OFFICIAL MEETING, AND TO PUBLISH ORDINANCES AND OTHER DOCUMENTS AS MAY BE REQUIRED BY LAW.  Councilman Spray made a motion to approve Resolution # 2019-03, second by Councilwoman Shelton, motion carried unanimously.
