NOTICE

Notice is hereby given, as required by Wyoming Statute Section 39-13-108, that Isom Land Holdings, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Isom Land Holdings”), intends to make application to the Unita County, Wyoming Treasurer for a tax deed to Lot 1, Block 2, of the Austin Hills Subdivision, Unita County, Wyoming (the “Property”), which Lot 1 has a street address of 505 Pinnacle Drive, Lyman, Wyoming. Pursuant to Wyoming Statute Section 39-13-108(e)(v), the following information is furnished with respect to Isom Land Holdings application to obtain a tax deed to the Property:

(I) The Property was purchased on September 19, 2018, as shown in that certain Certificate of Purchase of Real Estate Taxes, with Certificate No. 6768 (the “Certificate of Purchase”).  All rights under the Certificate of Purchase were purchased by, and assigned to, Isom Land Holdings on June 13, 2022. 

(II) Record title is presently in the name of Ralph Sohn and Loyola P. Wallberg, and the Property was in those names when it was taxed in 2017.

(III) The Property is Lot 1, Block 2, Austin Hills Subdivision, according to the official plat recorded in Unita County, Wyoming, and has a street address of 505 Pinnacle Drive, Lyman, Wyoming.

(IV) The Certificate of Purchase pertained to real property taxes on the Property for 2017.

(V) Isom Land Holdings’ right to obtain a tax deed pursuant to the Certificate of Purchase will expire on September 19, 2024. The right of the record title holders to redeem the Property will expire when a tax deed is issued to Isom Land Holdings, which will be no less than three months from the date of this Notice.

(VI) Isom Land Holdings will make application for a tax deed to the Property approximately three months after publication and posting of this Notice, as required by Wyoming Statute Section 39-13-108(e)(v), has been accomplished.

(VII) Isom Land Holdings is not aware of any special assessments on the Property for local or public improvements.

Councilman Hooton made a motion to approve the agenda as amended, second by Councilwoman Shelton, motion carried unanimously.

Councilwoman Shelton made a motion to approve the September 1, 2022 business meeting and work session minutes, second by Councilman Spray, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Quinney made a motion to approve the water rate reduction for Andy Spray, second by Councilwoman Shelton, motion passed.  Councilman Spray recuised himself from voting. 

Ordinance No. 2022-04 AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING A SAFETY REVIEW FOR BUSINESSES  Councilman  Hooton made a motion to take Ordinance No. 2022-04 off the table second by Councilman Spray, motion carried unanimously, Councilman Quinney made a motion to approve Ordinance No. 2022-04 on the first reading, second by Councilman Spray, motion carried unanimously.
