The October 20, 2020 Mountain View Town Council meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. by Mayor Scott Dellinger. Motion by Tori Carter, second by Gina Tims to approve the agenda; motion carried.

Motion by Tori Carter, second by Bryan Ayres to approve the October 6, 2020 minutes; motion carried.

Motion by Gina Tims, second by Bryan Ayres to approve RESOLUTION 2020-10 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION 2020-4 ESTABLISHING ALL FEES, COSTS AND CHARGES; SPECIFICALLY AMENDING RESIDENTIAL WATER BASE RATE, USAGE RATES AND SEWER LOAN FEE FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2020-2021 FISCAL YEAR; motion carried.

Minutes of the Business Meeting held October 15, 2020

Present were Mayor Berg, Councilmembers  Andy Spray, Tansy Shelton, Dallas Sill and Shane Hooton, Clerk Lisa Bradshaw, Public Works Director Jared Crane, Police Chief Kathy Adams and Attorney Thayne Peterson. 

Councilman Hooton made a motion to approve the agenda, second by Councilman Spray, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Sill made a motion to approve the minutes of the October 1, 2020 business meeting and work session, second by Councilman Spray, motion carried unanimously.

 ORDINANCE NO. 2020-06 AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING A LODGING TAX.  Attorney Peterson explained the purpose of this Ordinance. Councilwoman Shelton made a motion to approve Ordinance No. 2020 -06 on the first reading, second by Councilman Hooton, motion carried unanimously.

RESOLUTION # 2020-25 ACCEPTING CERTIFIED ANNEXATION PETITION ORDERING TOWN OFFICIALS TO EFFECTUATE ANNEXATION.  Councilman Spray made a motion to table Resolution # 2020-25,  second by Councilman  Hooton, motion carried unanimously.
