AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE AMOUNT OF TIME REQUIRED BETWEEN PUBLICATION OF A HEARING NOTICE AND HEARINGS FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS AND VARIANCES
WHEREAS, the Town requires public hearings before the Planning and Zoning Commission can issue Conditional Use Permits and Variances; and,
WHEREAS, the current Code requires seven (7) day notice by publication before the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the weekly publication schedule of the local newspaper has caused unnecessary delays in review by the Commission.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF LYMAN, UINTA COUNTY, WYOMING THAT THE TOWN CODE SHOULD BE MODIFIED IN THE FOLLOWING WAY:

Notice is hereby given that regular meetings of the Board of Trustees of Uinta County School District Number 6, State of Wyoming, are held January through March, at 7:00 p.m., on the second Tuesday of the month, April through August at 8:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month and September through December, at 7:00 p.m., on the third Tuesday of the month, in the board room of the administration building, at 126 North Franklin Street, in Lyman, Wyoming, and such meetings are open to the public. There will be an open work meeting one hour prior to each regular meeting.
Notice is also given that official minutes of each regular or special meeting of such board, including a record of all official acts and of all warrants issued, are available for inspection by any citizen during regular office hours at the office of the clerk of said district, at 126 North Franklin Street, Lyman, WY. Minutes of the Business Meeting held December 5, 2019
Present were Mayor Berg, Councilmembers Shane Hooton, Dallas Sill and Andy Spray, Clerk Lisa Bradshaw, Public Works Director Jared Crane, Police Officer Aaron Roberts and Attorney Thayne Peterson. Councilwoman Shelton and Chief Adams were excused.
Councilman Hooton made a motion to approve the agenda, second by Councilman Spray, motion carried unanimously.
Councilman Hooton made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 21, 2019 work session and business meetings, second by Councilman Sill, motion carried unanimously.
Ordinance No. 2019-09 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE UTILITY LINE AND FIXTURE PERMITTING REQUIREMENTS Councilman Hooton made a motion to approve Ordinance No. 2019-09 on the third and final reading, second by Councilman Spray, motion carried unanimously.
