2018 Wyoming FFA State Degrees earned by 14 Valley studentseditorial

CHEYENNE— The Wyoming FFA Association has announced the recipients of the 2018 Wyoming State FFA Degree, 14 of these members are from Bridger Valley.

The award is the highest award the state can bestow on its members. In this year’s group, 194 members representing 45 chapters earned the degree. These members will receive their degrees on April 19, 2018, as part of the Wyoming FFA Convention, held in Cheyenne each year.

Members of the LHS FFA chapter who earned the degree include Cameron Anson, Colten Ellison and Colton VanGieson.

Members of the MVHS Jim Bridger Chapter who earned the degree include Behlee Aimone ,Taylor Allen, Colten Barker, Linzy Carpenter, Dallie Hewitt, Breanna Hood, Delaney Lupher, Faith Pfeifer, Hope Pfeifer, Brandon Vitt and Hagen Wallis.

“The State FFA Degree is awarded to FFA members who have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to FFA and made significant accomplishments in their supervised agriculture experiences or SAEs,” explained State FFA Advisor Stacy Broda.
