NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Uinta County School District No. 6 will hold a public meeting on March 9, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the administration building at 126 North Franklin Street. The purpose of this meeting is to receive public input concerning the four-day week for the 2023-2024 and the 2024-2025 school years.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID

Uinta County School District 4 is accepting sealed bids to replace all existing Cat 5 and Cat 5e network cabling with Cat 6 cabling according to The State of Wyoming Low Voltage Rules and Regulations at Mountain View High School and the Uinta County 4 District Office. There will be approximately 234 Cat 6 runs, most (but not all) runs have existing paths, but may need to be supported according to Wyoming Low Voltage Rules and Regulations.  Bids shall be in accordance with the Bid Documentation available via the Universal Service Administrative Company website (www.usac.org). Bids are due to Uinta County School District 4, 129 W Second Street, Mountain View, Wyoming 82939, by 5:00 PM Mountain Standard Time on March 25, 2022. Bids may be emailed to Superintendent Jeff Newton at newtonj@uinta4.com. This project can begin on June 7, 2022 and  must be completed by July 31, 2022. There will be a mandatory walk through for this this project to be held at 1:00 PM on March 14, 2022. The meeting will begin at the UCSD#4 District Office located at 129 W 2nd Street   Mountain View, WY  82939.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Wyoming state statutes grant to cooperative boards the ability to amend By Laws after notification to the members.  The BVEA board intends to vote on some proposed amendments to the cooperative’s By Laws in an upcoming board meeting.  A summary of the changes is below.  The current and the proposed By Laws can be found on the BVEA web site at BVEA.coop.

Summary of Bylaw changes

Article I-  Section 1. Change to allow husband and wife to both count toward quorum requirement.

Article II-

Section 1. Change to allow annual meetings to be in person or remotely or a combination of both.

Section 2. Change to allow special meetings to be in person or remotely or a combination of both.

Section 3. Change which allows “notice” of meetings to be written, electronic, or printed.

Section 4. Change which allows members to participate remotely in meetings.

Section 7. Change to allow members to vote electronically.

Article III-Section 2. subsection b-2 Change in definition of close relative for eligibility to become a director.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Town of Mountain View has reached a preliminary agreement with Karl and Michelle Jaeger, to develop Valley Espresso Coffee Co and Gentilezza Beauty Bar, on approximately a 17,119 sq. ft. parcel, or 0.39 acres more or less, located in the Parkway Commercial Park 8th Addition to the Town of Mountain View, Wyoming.

The sale of the advertised $.90/sq. ft. Parkway Development land by the Town of Mountain View to Karl and Michelle Jaeger may be considered under contract negotiation according to the terms described by Wyoming Statute 15-1-112 (b). (i), (D) or Wyoming Statue 15-1-112 (b) (iii).  It is the intent of the town to convey this parcel to Karl and Michelle Jaeger following proper public notice, no later than March 21, 2022. In order to facilitate continued economic development in the community Karl and Michelle Jaeger will construct a Valley Espresso Coffee Company and Gentilezza Beauty Bar building on the above-described parcel. Karl and Michelle Jaeger will be required to follow the Town’s normal development plan submittal process for its development as provided for on the parcel.

Pursuant to the above-described Wyoming Statutes, the Town of Mountain View will hold a public hearing at the Regular Town Meeting on March 15, 2022 at 7:00 PM at the Mountain View Town Hall. This hearing will be to receive public comment and to consider the transfer of the above described land. Persons with special needs who desire to attend the meeting may contact the Town at 782-3100 to arrange accommodations. Councilwoman Shelton made a motion to approve the agenda as amended, second by Councilman Hooton, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Hooton made a motion to approve the January 20, 2022 business meeting, work session and planning meeting minutes, second by Councilwoman Shelton, motion carried unanimously.

Ordinance No. 2022-01 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LYMAN, WYOMING MODIFYING THE HOURS OF OPERATION FOR LIQUOR LICENSE HOLDER’S  Councilwoman Shelton made a motion to approve Ordinance No. 2022-01 on the second reading, second by Councilman Hooton, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Hooton made a motion to exempt a single lot in Hope Acres from the prohibition prohibiting a lot from being zoned R-1 due to having adjoining residential lots on 4 sides pursuant to Ordinance 12-4C-16(c), second by Councilwoman Shelton, motion carried unanimously.
