Minutes of the Business Meeting held March 16, 2023

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hooton, present was Councilmember’s Gregg

Councilman Bramlett made a motion to approve the agenda as amended, second by Councilman Moretti, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Berg made a motion to approve the March 2, 2023 business meeting and work

session minutes, second by Councilman Bramlett, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Moretti made a motion to approve the agreement made with Kemps and Stiglitz.

The town will pay for the labor/dirt work/equipment, Kemps and Stiglitz will pay for the

materials on their water lines, second by Councilman Berg, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Quinney made a motion to approve the following bills: Airgas -cylinder rental

TOWN OF MOUNTAIN VIEW

March 21, 2023   7:00 P.M.

The March 21, 2023 Mountain View Town Council meeting was called to order at 7:01 pm by Mayor Bryan Ayres. Those present were, Council President Jamy Ferrin council members, Jenny Harvey, Tori Carter, and Kelly Bonner, Clerk Treasurer, Penny Robbins, Attorney Mark Harris, and Chief of Police, Allister Bunch.

Motion by Jamy Ferrin, second by Tori Carter to approve the agenda; motion carried.

Motion by Kelly Bonner, second by Tori Carter to approve the March 7, 2023 meeting minutes with correction to the agenda stating February 21, 2023; motion carried.

Motion by Jamy Ferrin, second by Tori Carter to approve meeting date changes of Tuesday, April 4,2023 to Monday, April 3, 2023 and Tuesday, July 4, 2023 to Wednesday, July 5, 2023, motion carried.

Motion by Jamy Ferrin, second by Tori Carter to approve RESOLUTION 2023-4 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF MOUNTAIN VIEW, WYOMING APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF THE BENEDICT ADDITION, A SUBDIVISION OF ALL OF LOT 2 OF THE HOWARD WOODY SUBDIVISION AND PART OF THE NE ¼ SE ¼ OF SECTION 14, T15N, R115W, 6TH P.M; FINDING PROVISIONS OF AUTHORIZING ORDINANCE COMPLIED WITH; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND TOWN CLERK TO EXECUTE AND RECORD THE FINAL PLAT, motion carried.

Motion by Kelly Bonner, second by Jenny Harvey to approve RESOLUTION 2023-05 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF MOUNTAIN VIEW, WYOMING AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF AN ENTERTAINMENT AGREEMENT WITH CHARLEY JENKINS, motion carried.

Motion by Tori Carter, second by Jenny Harvey to approve RESOLUTION 2023-06 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF MOUNTAIN VIEW, WYOMING AUTHORIZING THE COMPLETION AND SUBMISSION OF A TOWN OF MOUNTAIN VIEW BUILDING SECURITY GRANT TO THE WYOMING OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY AND AUTHORIZING THE TOWN CLERK TO ADMINISTER THE SAME, motion carried.

Motion by Tori Carter, second by Jamy Ferrin to pay the following bill; Auto Spa, Police Car Washes, $32.00, First Bankcard, Travel and Supplies, $2823.72, Mill Street Entertainment, Celebrations, $2000.00, Dan and Beth Stephens, Refund, $125.64, Scott’s Auto Body, Vehicle Repair, $295.53, The Printed Word, Invitations, $24.45, Uinta County Clerk, Recording Fee, $90.00, Wasatch Surveying, Research, $264.00, Ferguson Waterworks, Water Maintenance, $1131.72, WY Asso of Sheriffs and Chiefs, Membership and Conference, $235.00,WY Conference of Municipal Court, Registrations, $150.00, Forsgren Associates, Commercial Drive Extension, $1035.00, Pace Cleaning Systems, Sewer Cleaning, $412.00; motion carried.

Legislative update of the Wyoming 67th Session was presented by House Representative Jon Conrad.

There being no other council business, Mayor Bryan Ayres adjourned the meeting at 7:40 pm.
