PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that Kevin and Ricky Maxfield have applied for a Land Use District Change (Zone Change) and Subdivision Permit for a parcel of land in Section 36, T16N R115W.  The application would allow a change from the Agricultural/ Resource/Development (ARD) Land Use District to the Residential (R) Land Use District for the development of a one (1) lot Residential subdivision entitled the Rick and Kevin Maxfield Subdivision.

A public hearing on this matter will be held before the Uinta County Planning and Zoning Commission on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the Mountain View Town Hall, Mountain View, Wyoming.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor, Bryan Ayres.

The May 18, 2021 Mountain View Town Council meeting was called to order at 7 pm by Mayor, Bryan Ayres. Those present were, council members, Jenny Harvey, Tori Carter, Gina Tims and Jamy Ferrin, Clerk Treasurer, Penny Robbins, Deputy Clerk, Amanda Fraughton, Rick Guild, Public Works, Chief of Police, Trevor Rasmussen, and Officer Alan Kiefer.

Motion by Tori Carter, second by Jamy Ferrin to approve the agenda; motion carried.

Motion by Jenny Harvey, second by Jamy Ferrin to approve the May 4, 2021 minutes; motion carried.

Motion by Tori Carter, second by Jamy Ferrin to approve open container for F&M Liquor during scheduled Corn Hole Leagues for this season; motion carried.

Motion by Jamy Ferrin, second by Gina Tims to approve ORDINANCE 2021-4 THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2022 ON FIRST READING; motion carried.

Motion by Jamy Ferrin, second by Tori Carter to recess to public hearing to receive public comment on ORDINANCE 2021-3 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A NON-EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE TO CENTURYLINK COMMUICATIONS, LLC; motion carried.

Jeff Haggit asked for explanation of the franchise ordinance to Centurylink Communications.

Motion by Gina Tims, second by Jenny Harvey to reconvene regular meeting; motion carried.

Motion to by Jamy Ferrin, second by Tori Carter to approve ORDINANCE 20201-3 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A NON-EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE TO CENTURYLINK COMMUNICATIONS, LLC ON BEHALF OF ITSELF AND ITS OPERATING AFFILIATES (“CENTURYLINK”) TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM (“THE SYSTEM”) IN THE TOWN OF MOUNTAIN VIEW, WYOMING ON SECOND READING; motion carried.
