The Board of Directors of the Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA) will hold a conference call Board meeting beginning at 8:00 am, Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at the offices of WCDA, 155 N. Beech, Casper, WY.

UINTA COUNTY BOARD VACANCY

The Uinta County Commissioners will accept applications for board member to fill an unexpired term on the Uinta County Library Board.  Applications can be found at www.uintacounty.com under the Quick Links tab or at the County Clerk’s Office located at 225 9th St. Evanston.  Completed applications are due in the County Clerk’s Office by 5:00 p.m. June 27th.  Applications can be mailed to 225 9th St. Evanston, WY  82930; faxed to 307-783-0511 or emailed to amhutchinson@uintacounty.com.

Notice of Public Hearing

A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Uinta County Courthouse, 225 9th Street, Evanston, Wyoming to solicit public comments regarding a proposed Abandoned Mine Lands Public Facilities grant.  Uinta County has been determined eligible to apply for AML grant funds by Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).  AML Public Facilities grant program is focused on assisting local communities and public entities to mitigate the impacts of historic coal and mineral mining and processing.  Uinta County Commission is seeking AML Public Facilities grant funds in order to design, purchase, and install grandstands at Uinta County Fairgrounds.

If unable to attend public hearing, please submit written comments by mail to Uinta County Clerk’s Office, P. O. Box 810, Evanston, WY  82931, Attention: AML Public Comments or email to amhutchinson@uintacounty.com.

TOWN OF LYMAN WYOMING

Minutes of the Business Meeting held May 16, 2019

Present were Mayor Berg, Councilmembers  Andy Spray, Dallas Sill, Tansy Shelton and Shane Hooton, Public Works Director Jared Crane, Police Chief Kathy Adams, Clerk Lisa Bradshaw and Attorney Thayne Peterson. 

Councilman Hooton made a motion to approve the agenda as amended, second by Councilwoman Shelton, motion carried unanimously.

Councilwoman Shelton made a motion to approve the minutes of the May 2, 2019 work and business meetings, second by Councilman Sill, motion carried unanimously.

RESOLUTION # 2019-05 APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR THE VILLAGE EAST ADDITION PHASE IV LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN OF LYMAN, UNITA COUNTY, WYOMING AND SETTING THE ZONES THEREOF Councilman Sill made a motion to approve Resolution # 2019-05, second by Councilman Spray, motion carried unanimously.

RESOLUTION # 2019-11 A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A PUBLIC RECORDS MANAGER FOR THE TOWN Councilman Hooton made a motion to approve Resolution # 2019-11 second by Councilwoman Shelton, motion carried unanimously.

RESOLUTION # 2019-12 APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR THE HILL-ROUNDY ADDITION LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN OF LYMAN, UINTA COOUNTY, WYOMING Councilwoman Shelton made a motion to approve Resolution # 2019-12, second by Councilman Spray, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Spray made a motion to go into an Executive Session to discuss personnel issues and potential litigation, second by Councilman Sill

Mayor Berg opened the public hearing for Ordinance No. 2019-05.  No public comment. Public hearing was closed.

ORDINANCE NO. 2019-05 AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED “ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30,2020” Councilman Spray made a motion to approve Ordinance No. 2019-05 as amended on the second reading, second by Councilwoman Shelton, motion carried unanimously.
