All State honors earned by Valley football players

BRIDGER VALLEY — Bridger Valley grows ‘em tough and strong as the All Conference and All State selections for Wyoming 2A football prove.

MVHS Buffalo Jason Stoddard was “selected (Casper Star Tribune’s)Super 25 Defensive Player of the Year...Best high school defensive player in Wyoming,” according to MVHS head coach Brent Walk Tuesday. “Amazing player and an amazing young man...very proud.”

The Wyoming Coaches Associations All State selections were released last week after press time. Qut of the 40 athletes tapped, 10 of them are from Bridger Valley.

Senior BeauDee Bluemel was tapped for the Lyman Eagles.

Nine were named from the roster of the Mountain View Buffalos. The Buffalos who earned this honor included Jonathan Andersen, Harlan Benedict, Braxton Hysell and Jason Stoddard, all seniors; Colby Rees, junior; and Briggin Bluemell, Hunter Gross, Kimball Madsen and Braeden Walk, all sophomores.  

The group from Mountain View were also tapped for All Conference honors. All Conference honors went to Bluemel, Dryden Menck, Cayden Giles and Ben Neider of the Lyman Eagles.
