A celebration of Alta's life is slated for Saturday, April 22, at The Mountain View LDS Church, 116 4th St. in Mountain View. Visitation is at 10 a.m. with services starting at 11 a.m. The celebration of Alta's life is to be arranged by Crandall's Funeral Home.

She was born on April 6, 1942, to beloved parents James Chester and Otha Opal Jenkins in Missoula, Mont.

Alta was preceded in death by four of her cherished children: Teri Mari, Marie Evelyn, John Michael and Dannael James. Also among Alta's predeceased loved ones are one grandson, and her brothers, Vernon and Fred Jenkins.

Alta is survived by her husband, Roy Crawford, who remained the love of her life. Alta is also survived by her daughters: Dianne Weekes (Pat Clingan), Tammi (Don) Barber and Erica Fairbourn (Tom Stoker); 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Nadine Bousman.

Friends and family of Alta remember her as a model mother, wife, grandmother and friend.

Alta was quick to communicate her belief that no problem was so great it couldn't be solved with a little laughter and a smile.

Please join us this Saturday as we share laughs and smiles together in remembrance of a woman who meant so much to all of us.
