PROVO, Utah — The state 1A golf tournament in Utah was held at the East Bay Golf Course in Provo on May 17, a cold and snowy day.
Sylvie Anderson of Lonetree finished her tour of the course, earning her third All-State honor. Anderson is a junior at Manila High School.
There were nine 1A schools competing in the tournament. In addition, there were nine individual golfers for a field of 53 competitors in the tournament.
With four pars and a birdie, Anderson completed the round with 97 in stroke play and 65 in stableford scoring.
