FORT BRIDGER — Beverly Jean Neilson Iorg died peacefully at her home in Fort Bridger on Oct. 8.
Beverly was born Dec. 15, 1943, in Portland, Ore.. to Marvel and Olita Neilson. On Sept. 6, 1958, she married Robert R. Iorg in Roosevelt, Utah. Together they had five children; Glendon (Glen), Christin (Chris), Robin, Saundra (Sam), Robert (Bob).
Beverly worked for many years as an EMT for Uinta County Ambulance and at FMC as a guard for 15 years. She was a caring, passionate person and enjoyed spending time with her family, grandkids, MoJo (her bird) and friends. She loved feeding the hummingbirds that returned each year and watching them though her kitchen window. There wasn’t a day that passed she didn’t miss her lifelong companion. On Oct. 8, they were once again reunited.
Beverly is survived by her children: Glen (Jerilyn) Iorg of Mountain View, Chris (Butch) Irick of Fort Bridger, Sam (Bryan) Tillotson of Fort Bridger, Bob (Shawna) Iorg of Mountain View; adopted son, Ed (Cindy) Iorg of Phoenix Ariz.; 14 Grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvel and Olita Neilson: sister, Jackie Malaner; spouse, Robert Iorg: and newborn daughter, Robin Iorg.
Graveside services will be held Oct. 21, 11:30 a.m. at the Fort Bridger Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at the American Legion Hall Post 36 in Fort Bridger.
