EVANSTON — The Wyoming All-State Music conference was held in Evanston Jan. 14-16, bringing accolades to the Valley.
A top event of the conference was the award presented to LHS music instructor Chuck Braumbaugh as he was named the 2018 Wyoming Music Educator of the Year by the Wyoming Music Educators Association.
“This award is the highest honor given by our association and is a clear
Indication of your dedication to your students and to the music education community of Wyoming,” the letter notifying Braumbaugh earlier this school year he received from the organization’s president Brent Rose stated.
Rose presented the award to Braumbaugh this week in Evanston in conjunction with the All State music conference.
District 6 music teacher Jesse Willie nominated Brumbaugh and was also involved in the presentation of the award.
