BRIDGER VALLEY — Although football season has ended and players hung up their cleats, players continue to earn honors for their work on the gridiron.
As stats had it, Lyman and Mountain View were near the top of the conference all season long and had excellent records. Due to this fact, the number of players from both teams to earn post-season honors is a credit to both high schools.
Also for a post-season honor, LHS head coach Dale Anderson was named the Coach of the Year for both the state and for 2A West Coach of the Year.
Two other impressive honors were taken by the Valley. Lyman Eagle Hansen Bradshaw was named the Lineman of the Year and MVHS Buffalo Ashton Schofield shared the Offensive Player of the Year award with Brad Kruger, Upton-Sundance.
All-State football players as voted on by head coaches across the state and unveiled this week include multiple players from Bridger Valley. The selections are made by the Wyoming Coaches Association. To be considered for All-State football honors, a player must have been named first-team all-conference.
