LYMAN — The Uinta County Sheriff's department visited Lyman schools Dec. 21, to help make Christmas even more fun for students.
The Uinta County Sheriff's Office, through their program called "Shop with a Cop,” has been providing presents to students in the school district for the past several years. This year, due to COVID, the sheriff's department did all of the shopping, then invited special guests which included reindeer and elves to help deliver the presents to students at Urie Elementary and Lyman Intermediate School.
School officials expressed their thanks to those who make this program possible.
