FORT BRIDGER — Bruce Wayne Hilliard was born to Walter and Delores Hilliard Sept. 18, 1952, in Bonham, Texas.
He was raised on the family farm in Dodd City, Texas.
Bruce enjoyed many activities like farming, gardening, fishing, cooking, and he loved spending his spare time with his loving wife, Tammy of 24 years; his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
Bruce took pride in his long-time career of various types of construction work, but most of all, running his cranes.
He loved tinkering on anything he could turn into a project, no matter how big or small.
Bruce had a huge heart and a huge love for the Lord. He had a very close relationship with God. And, because of it, he was an inspiration to those around him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Delores, and his brother, David.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy of Fort Bridger; sister, Tracy; brothers, Beryl and Wes, all of Texas; daughters: Kim, Mellissa Jamie of Texas; daughters: Satin, Tina and Kimberly, all of Wyoming; several nieces, nephews, grandkids and great-grandkids.
Funeral services were held at Bridger Valley Baptist Church in Lyman, June 13, at 1 p.m. A celebration of life in Bonham, Texas will be announced at a later date.
