EVANSTON — The Frostbite Invitational, hosted by High Uinta Gymnastics, was held Jan. 13, at the Evanston Recreation Center.
The next meet for the gymnasts was the Missy Marlow’s Wasatch Open in Salt Lake City, the end of last month, at the Salt Palace Convention Center. Marlowe is a Belgian-born American gymnast who represented the United States at the Olympics in Seoul.
At the recent Frostbite Invitational, two sessions were held throughout the day, with 86 gymnasts competing from six different teams. During session 1, Axis Gymnastics from Jackson placed first, Legacy Gymnastics from Rock Springs placed second, Tanglewood Studios from Tremonton, Utah placed third and High Uinta Gymnastics placed fourth.
Victoria Aimone placed fourth in the balance beam and fifth in the vault, uneven bars and floor events. She placed fifth overall for her division and age-level with a score of 30.85.
