FORT BRIDGER — The Knights of Columbus at St. Helen’s Catholic Church have again participated in the nationwide Coats for Kids program.
The Knights donated two boxes or 24 winter coats to Sub 4 Santa. They presented the coats to Pastor Joe Galvin who helps direct the Sub 4 Santa program in the Valley
The Coats for Kids program was part of the Neighbors Helping Neighbors initiative that started in New York City and mushroomed across the nation. The program provides Councils in North America to purchase new winter coats for children at a discount and then distribute them to children in need in the local communities of the individual Knights councils.
