LYMAN — The Valley’s Fourth of July celebration took a disappointing turn when the firework show at the Heritage Barn was suddenly cancelled.
The flashy display that was expected to light up the night sky was a completely computerized performance, according to Lisa Bradshaw, Lyman town clerk.
“The vendor we had come to put on the show, their computer ended up not working,” explained Bradshaw. “The fireworks were computerized, so there was really nothing we could do.”
Bradshaw emphasized the unfortunate incident was not the Town of Lyman’s fault.
