COVID-19 Vaccinations in Uinta County/set to give shots to 70s and older

Posted

EVANSTON — COVID-19 Vaccinations for medical and emergency personnel (those in the top tier priority group Phase 1A) are nearly complete in Uinta County, according to a PR Monday afternoon.

Plans are being made to move into Phase 1B, specifically those 70 years and older.

Doses of COVID-19 vaccine are very limited at this time, and there likely will not be enough to vaccinate everyone who would like one in the first clinic. More vaccine will be available in coming weeks. Additional clinics will be held as additional vaccine arrives.

If you are 70 years old or older and are interested in receiving the vaccine please register by filling in all of the information at this link: https://forms.gle/fbvGPciMf7gTQqZQA (please see the attached QR code and print with the story.)

You only need to register once.

Utilizing the above link is the preferred method for registration, but for those without a computer or smart phone or someone to help them register that way, we can accept calls Tuesday Jan. 12 – Friday Jan. 15, 8 a.m.- noon and 1-5 p.m. at 307-787-3800 for Bridger Valley residents to sign up.

To fairly distribute the vaccine, we will utilize a random drawing for residents 70 and older who have registered to receive the vaccine.

If your name was selected you will receive notification (Code Red text, email, or phone call) that will tell you the location, time and date for you to receive your vaccine.

Unfortunately, we do not have enough doses to offer the shots on a drop-in basis. At this time, you will only receive the vaccine if your name is on the list and 70 years old or older.

As additional vaccine is received we will notify of further clinics utilizing a similar process.
