BRIDGER VALLEY — The preconference season is over and the do-or-die season for Valley sports teams takes off this week as they take on their first opponents of the conference season and 2018.
The LHS Eagles closed out 2017 with a game last week over the Christmas break when they hosted the Chiefs of Wyoming Indian. The games were split as the Lady Eagles notched another win and the Eagles suffered another loss.
The Buffalos hosted the Rawlins Outlaws in the Buffalo dome last week. But a big game for the week was Saturday when the LHS Eagles host the MVHS Buffalos in the Eagle lair. The teams split the wins with the Lady Eagles cinching their win in the last few minutes of the fourth. The Buffalos came out in the second half and took the lead from the Eagles and notched a healthy win.
