EVANSTON — Jon Dolezal, Evanston and a MVHS graduate, has been appointed to the Wyoming Transportation Commission.
The commission is composed of seven members appointed by the governor, with approval of the Senate. Commissioners are appointed to six-year terms and they represent districts, which include three or four counties.
Each county within a commission district is represented, in turn, by successive appointments. State law requires the minority party be represented on the commission. The commission generally meets monthly.
Dolezal is the executive vice president and chief credit officer of Uinta Bank.
The bank has locations in Evanston, Mountain View and Rock Springs. In his position, Dolezal represents District 3, which encompasses Uinta, Lincoln, Sublette and Teton counties.
Dolezal was raised and graduated from high school in Mountain View. He earned his bachelor degree in business administration from the University of Wyoming. After graduating, Dolezal worked in banking in Laramie before moving back to southwest Wyoming.
