The Valley, mountains and many other areas have been vibrant as the leaves are turning for the fall. This is only one of the many, many trees that have dotted the Valley in the last few weeks. With the wind this week, many of the leaves are falling. This week’s weather was predicted to bring snow. Tuesday afternoon, the Valley had a dusting of snow with the moisture. The Casper Star Tribune reported Tuesday morning, “Snow closes Interstate 25 between Casper and Buffalo/Snow and ice have shut down parts of Interstates 25 and 90.” Also on Tuesday, I-80 eastbound from Evanston to the Valley was closed and an accident was cited. As of 8 a.m. Wednesday, most of Interstate 25 and Interstate 80 were closed, as was a large section of Interstate 90. PIONEER PHOTO/Virginia Giorgis
