Due to a fire in the Evanston area on E hill, the county issued a county-wide ban on shooting fireworks on Wednesday, Independence Day. The ban is in place until further notice. However, it was lifted for the Town of Mountain View to hold the Valley’s fireworks display Wednesday night. It seemed strange not to see Valley residents shooting fireworks throughout the Valley.
