LYMAN — A report surfacing in the Valley this week about a mountain lion in the area is not true.
According to Allen Deru, Wyoming Game Warden stationed in Mountain View, Tuesday evening, he responded to a report of a mountain lion in the Lyman are on Sunday, July 15, around 10:30 pm. A Uinta County deputy and a Lyman PD officer were already on scene.
“The Uinta County deputy observed a large bobcat in the area the report came in from,” Deru said. “No mountain lion was observed by any of us and I have not received any more reports.”
