DONNELY, Idaho — Gale E. Beach, 67, died April 14, in Boise, Idaho, after a brief illness.
Gale was born Dec. 1, 1949, in Evanston, the son of J. Glen Beach and Betty Jean Whittaker Beach. He was raised on a ranch in Mountain View and graduated from Mountain View High School in 1968. He attended Utah Technical College and then served in the United States Army in the early 1970’s.
He lived in Elko and Las Vegas, Nev., for many years and was residing in Donnely, Idaho, at the time of his death.
Gale is survived by his mother Betty Jean Whitsell of Rock Springs; stepfather, Darrel Whitsell of Boise, Idaho; wife, Cheryl Matthews Beach of Donnely, Idaho; son, Shane (Heidi) Beach and grandson, Jayden, all of Mission Viejo, Calif.; brother, Greg (Jamie) Beach of Mountain View; and sister, Lynette Beach (Spile) Arnell, of Lonetree.
Gale was preceded in death by his father, Glen Beach; brother, Gary Beach; sister-in-law, Peg Persons Beach; and sister, Vicki Jo Beach.
Gale was loved by family and friends and will be missed.
