Herbert Howard Ballman, 77 years, passed away Saturday, Aug. 12, at his home in Fort Bridger.
He was born May 28, 1940, in Sparta, Wisconsin, to Herbert Arthur Ballman and Yvonne Joy Slayton Ballman. He was a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and worked for Amoco Production at Whitney Canyon from 1965 until his retirement in 1999. He loved to fish and hunt, did amazing wood carvings and never saw a dog he couldn’t make his best friend. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Ballman is survived by his loving companion, Marilyn Hollis of Fort Bridger; a daughter, Jodi Ball-man; two brothers, John Ballman of Westby, Wisconsin, and Bill Ballman of New Port Richey, Florida; and a sister, Doralea (DuWayne) Kastner of Westby, Wisconsin.
By his request, his remains will be cremated. A private service will be held at a later date.
