There were multiple accidents on I-80 near milepost 41, the Lyman North Exit, Tuesday morning according to a report by the Wyoming Highway Patrol following the second whiteout, which coursed through the Valley Tuesday morning. The accidents resulted in a road closure till the Highway Department could clear the vehicles and open the road. Westbound traffic was backed up for miles late Tuesday afternoon east of Fort Bridger around the exit at MM34. Shortly after 5 p.m., the traffic line cleared out as I-80 westbound was opened.
