ROBERTSON — Leon O. Robertson, 72, of Robertson, Wyoming, passed away on July 28, 2020.
He was born to Ilene Holm and George O. Robertson on May 7, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He served time in the Army, spending time in the Vietnam War stationed near the Korean DMZ, after which he made a career out of being an electronics technician at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. He also enjoyed photography in the days before digital cameras.
Leon is survived by his loving wife, Diane Higham Robertson; his children: Jared O. Robertson (Susie), Stacy Ilene Robertson Coles, Trevor Brown (Shauna), Lisa Brown, Troy Brown (Jen), and Trent Brown; his stepmother, Mary Ann Robertson; brothers: Gary O. Robertson (Kathy) and Boyd O. Robertson (Heidi); as well as 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George O. Robertson and Ilene Holm; his sister, Cherrine Robertson Allen; and his daughters: Christy Jean, Mindy and Sarah.
A celebration of Leon’s cife will take place on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the Robertson Family property: 12187 Highway 410, Robertson, WY 82944.
