LHS’ Douglass on the mat with USA Team in Europe

LHS wrestler Sefton Douglass on the mat when he toured with Team USA in Europe.

TALLIN, Estonia — Lyman High School student Sefton Douglass returned last weekend after competing with a USA Team in Europe's largest Greco and Freestyle wrestling tournament – The Tallin Open.

This event takes place in Tallin, Estonia, and usually consists of nearly 3,000 competitors from different countries with their top wrestlers in each age and weight division.

Douglass' trip started in Wisconsin training in a three-day-intensive camp with fellow state champions from 14 different states. He flew out for completion with his team, which was put together by Jared Lewis and Hunter.

Douglass will get no rest as he is back training in Green River to compete in all three wrestling disciplines this weekend at the Wyoming State Championships.

The Douglass family would like to thank all the support he receives, especially that from Southwest Wyoming.
