MALAD, Idaho — The Lyman High School track team continues to strive for person bests and to notch points for the team.

The team competed at the Malad, Idaho, Invitational last Friday against a lot of teams with the LHS ladies team taking second out of 12 teams. The guys took fifth place out of 11 teams.

Two Wyoming teams – Lyman and Star Valley – competed in the 12 team meet.

This week Lyman competed at the Evanston meet Wednesday and the Green River track meet.

Evanston played host to Lyman Mountain View, Big Piney and Kemmerer. Results from the Evanston meet were posted Thursday morning during production, and a wrap-up follows.

Results for Evanston showed several trips to the podium. Lady Eagle distance runner Kaleigh Douglass again turned in big points for the Eagles as she took second place in the 1600 meter run.
