LYMAN — The Lyman High School golf team heads to the golf course and action next week with two tournaments.
The team will compete in Pinedale next Tuesday, Aug. 20, and then head to the golf course in Evanston on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 22-23.
The team will field 16 golfers this year. Four of the returning players are expected to be very competitive during the season.
“I have three returning players whom I expect great things from, Andrew Houskeeper a 12th grader, Ben Rasmussen a 12th grader, and Stockton Walker an 11th grader,” head coach Don Toomer said Tuesday morning “Kaylen Woodruff is my only returning varsity girl.”
Due to the number of golfers on the LHS team, many of the golfers will be in the learning mode, but Toomer expects the teams to do well.
