MOUNTAIN VIEW — Part of Mountain View suffered a power outage Tuesday night.
Thursday morning Andy Hewitt said, a pickup truck hit a pole and broke the pole about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, when the driver lost control of his truck.
BVEA crews were out and repaired the damage and power was back on around 11:15 p.m.
Hewitt said the outage included part of Mountain View and on out towards Poverty Flats, leaving 380 people without power for the short duration.
Estimated damage was between $3,000 to $5,000, Hewitt said.
The driver was checked out at the scene but was not transported to the hospital, Hewitt said.
