Little shop, big dreams

Posted

URIE — Almost 40 years ago, Bridger Valley was blessed with the opening of the Valley Fabric Shop, according to Cassie Youngberg.

Charla Youngberg started her dreams of becoming more than just a fabric store that year. With the help of her family and community, she and her daughter, and now co-owner, Bobbi Clark, have made many of those dreams come true. One dream that Bobbi and Charla have pursued for many years came true this year.

Word of this adored fabric shop has traveled across the nation and has become a destination for all traveling quilters, according to Cassie Youngberg. Charla and Bobbi have done a miraculous job promoting their shop, but they couldn’t have become the hot spot that they are today without the loyalty and commitment of their customers.

This year the Valley Fabric Shop team has won the super bowl of fabric shop owner’s dreams, by being featured in the Quilter’s Sampler by Better Homes and Gardens. They are one of 10 shops around the nation to receive this award.
