MILLBURNE — Lola Landers Hamilton celebrated her 100th birthday on Oct. 30. Hamilton was born in Riverton, in 1918, while her father served in WWI.
She has lived 87 of her 100 years in Bridger Valley on the Hamilton ranch where she still resides. She graduated from Mountain View High School with the class of 1936, and has continued to educate herself and develop many talents and skills. She is very well read and known for her positive approach to life.
A few of Hamilton’s hobbies include sewing, quilting, baking wedding cakes and oil painting. She has made at least 100 pieced quilts and around 40 wedding cakes for friends and family.
Hamilton and John, her husband of nearly 60 years, raised six children, Jeraldine, Pat, Chuck, Claudia, Richard and Chris, and have numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
