BRIDGER VALLEY — Isaac Lord, Scoutmaster for Troop 7798 in Bridger Valley, was presented with the District Award of Merit by District Executive Budd Allen at the troops Court of Honor on Jan. 6.
The District Award of Merit is a council award presented by districts in the same manner that the Silver Beaver is a national award presented by councils. The award is available to Scouters who render service of an outstanding nature at the district level.
Lord was a founding member of and has been Scoutmaster since the initial charter of Troop 7798 in October 2018. The troop is charted by the VFW Post 7798. Scouting is alive and well in Bridger Valley.
