Lucky 17 Irish dinner coming up

Posted

FORT BRIDGER — The St. Helen’s Catholic Church will be hosting their annual fundraiser to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday, March 18.

On tap is a corned beef and cabbage dinner, with colcannon, salad, rolls and dessert and/or Irish stew. Along with that will be the raffle and auction, which will feature some great prizes and items to bid on.

The quilt pictured above is raffle prize #17 for the in the raffle and it was made by Diana Worman. There are 16 other prizes to win in the raffle. Many businesses and individuals have donated items for the event, many of which will appear in the live and silent auctions that will take place that evening. Be watching Bridger Valley Events on Facebook to see some of the items that will be sold at auction or given in the raffle.

Dinner tickets are $15 for adults and youth over 12 years old and $10 for kids 6-11. Dinner and raffle tickets can be purchased at the door and credit/debit cards are accepted. The parishioners of St. Helen’s are inviting the general public to come and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and help support the Catholic community in Bridger Valley. It is a family friendly event. If you have questions please call Naomi Stone at 307-371-8594.
