CASPER — The Lyman Eagles proved to be the come-back kids at the regional tournament and were again the come-back kids at the state tournament last week in Casper.
The Eagles had their eye on the state championship throughout the season, but hard knocks at both tournaments took away the dream. The Eagles had soared high all season and ended the season as the #1 SW seed. Fate stepped in and knocked them off the top branch so they ended up in third place after suffering a loss at the hands of Riverton Wolverines at the regional tournament. But the come-back kids rallied and beat the Mountain View Buffalos to claim third place.
