CHEYENNE — The LHS FCCLS was selected as the 2017-18 Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America State-level FACTS Award Winner at the convention.

The convention – Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America – was held in Cheyenne in March.

The award the LHS chapter received is due to a new program by the Wyoming FCCLA in which outstanding FCCLA chapters around the state were recognized. Lyman was one of the eight chapters in the state to earn this prestigious award, a Four Star Chapter Award.

Chapters were encouraged to fill out an application showing service, leadership, etc. of activities that the organization is involved in throughout the year along with the competition at the state level.

Ford Driving Skills for Life and FCCLA recognize LHS’ efforts with a certificate and a State-Level Facts Award of $500.

Lyman FCCLA had 16 students competing in state competitions with the following students receiving medals.
