LYMAN — Mary Louise Walker died Aug. 25, at the age of 95. She was born June 2, 1922, in Robertson, to Robert Charles Byrne and Leone Robbins Byrne.

Louise attended school in Robertson and graduated from Mountain View High School. She married Dwight B Walker on Oct. 11, 1941. This marriage was later sealed for time and eternity on Oct. 4, 1958, in the Manti Temple. The marriage was blessed with seven children.

Louise was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including Primary president and Relief Society president. She was focused and dedicated to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to garden and spent many hours working in her yard and garden.

Dwight and Louise owned the Valley Theatre for many years, and Louise instituted the free Halloween night movies to help keep mischievous kids off the streets. Louise supported Dwight in his many business ventures throughout their life together. She was very organized and enjoyed serving as secretary of the Mountain View Alumni Association.

Louise is survived by, four sons: Vess, John, Richard and Glen; two daughters: Kathlene and Gail; one sister, Carol Byrne Hamilton; 22 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight B Walker; daughter, Amelia: son-in-law, John Wiseman; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, her mother and father and four brothers.

The family would like to thank the employees of the “Family Tree Assisted Living” in Morgan, Utah, for the wonderful care they gave Louise during her six year stay.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 2, at 11 a.m. in the Lyman LDS Chapel, with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Lyman Cemetery.
