MOUNTAIN VIEW — Mountain View High School celebrated Homecoming last week topping off the celebration Saturday with a parade, a winning football game in front of the hometown crowd and a dance to close out the week.
The theme for this year’s Homecoming was “Holleywood” and most of the royalty was dressed to the nines.
Activities last week also included a blow-out volleyball game Friday night in which the Lady Buffs maintained their #1 slot of the 3A conference. Saturday included the parade and Buffalo football game against the Pinedale Wranglers, with the Buffs taking the win.
The royalty was crowned earlier during the week and was on hand to reign over Saturday’s festivities. Tanner Collins and Emalee Bugas were named king and queen, and they were attended by members of the other high school classes.
At kick off time, fans gathered at the Mountain View stadium for the Buffalos to take to the field in the Homecoming game and notching their first win of the season, with a shutout of the Pinedale Wranglers.
. The Royalty was recognized during the half time of the game. Also recognized at half time were the senior cross country runners: Rylee Antonino, Indianna Covington, Tannner Erickson and Katie Giorgis.
