MOUNTAIN VIEW — When the Valley get tough, it gets tough, the MVHS Lady Buffs also walked away from the conference duals in Lander last week with all wins.
They knocked off three teams in three sets and one in four, tucking more games into their win column.
The duals are usually a preview of the regional tournament as all of the 3A West teams go head-to-head on the court. According to the latest WyoPrep poll released yesterday,
Mountain View moved ahead of Douglas for #3, bumping the defending state champs down to #4. Pinedale is back in at #5 this week, and has the hardest schedule, hosting Mountain View and visiting Lyman this weekend.
At the Lander Duals last weekend, the Lady Buffs won in three when they took on Lovell (25-18, 25-11, 25-9); #5 Powell (25-21, 25-22, 25-19), both games last Friday, and Worland Saturday, Worland (25-13, 25-23, 25-21). Their second game Saturday against Lander stretched into four sets, but the Lady Buffs put this game away also: (25-19, 23-25, 25-23, 25-15).
