Late Friday afternoon, Jan. 3, Bridger Valley Fire responded to a structure fire on Union Road in the Scoop Shovel Trailer Park. Four or five trucks and units raced through Fort Bridger, lights flashing and sirens sounding. Upon arrival, the firefighters noted the structure was fully involved but crews were able to prevent the spread of the fire to nearby units. One female from a nearby unit was transported to Evanston Regional for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to the post on Facebook. According to residents of the trailer Wednesday mid-day, the hot water heater started the fire. The alarm went off and when he looked back, flames were coming out of the bottom of the water heater.
