LYMAN — In an effort to share God's love with millions of boys and girls around the world, Operation Christmas Child by Samaritan’s Purse has designated the Bridger Valley Baptist Church on East Clark Street in Lyman as the local drop-off for this program.
It started on Nov. 12 and has a few remaining dates for drop offs. Lyman volunteers hope to collect more than 3,050 gifts to contribute to Operation Christmas Child's 2018 goal of reaching 11 million children in need.
The remaining dates are:
Nov. 16-17 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Nov. 18 -1 to 2 p.m.
Nov. 19 – 9 to 11 a.m.
Shoebox gifts are filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items to share God's love with millions of boys and girls around the world through the Samaritan's Purse project. Lyman volunteers hope to collect more than 3,050 gifts to contribute to Operation Christmas Child's 2018 goal of reaching 11 million children in need.
This year's added request: 'Pray for the child who will receive your shoebox."
