Pat was born May 24, 1942, in Santa Maria, Calif. Pat was the son of Robert O’Brien and Opal (Sides) O’Brien.

He then moved to northern Idaho and lived in the Silver Valley for over 20 years.

Pat had many interests and hobbies over the years. He loved to hunt, fish, ride motorcycles and used to race circle track cars. He also played on the pool leagues in the Silver Valley for many years. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and two brothers: Robert (Mary) O’Brien of Santa Maria, Calif., and Charles Rutherford of Mexico.
