BRIDGER VALLEY — The Pioneer would like to introduce the two new faces added to the staff of the Bridger Valley Pioneer, which include advertising sales associate Randi Singleton and reporter Anjoli Mosier.
After a 10-year absence from the workforce to spend quality time with her three kids, Singleton recently started looking for a flexible part time job to begin easing her way back in to being a working mom, as her youngest will be off to school next year. Her timing couldn't have worked out more perfectly, Singleton said, as she had just asked a friend about what was available in town and was pleased to find something right up her alley.
Able to hop right in and learn the basics right away, Singleton has been able to get a lot of on the job training to start out her new career. She said she loves the creative side of the job, but her favorite part is being able to interact with the people in the local community. She also loves she is able to bring her daughter in to work with her sometimes, or when she isn't able to bring her, she also has the option of working from home.
An old hat when it comes to journalism, Mosier has worked at the Pioneer’s sister publication, the Uinta County Herald, off-and-on for about a total of three years. She loves being able to share the stories people share with her, and is currently writing a book so she can also share her own story.
Happily engaged to a great guy, Mosier recently transplanted to Lyman and is now working to blend a family of seven. She is working hard to get active in the community, joining the Substance Abuse Coalition and the Suicide Prevention Coalition as a way to give back and meet new people in the area. She also spent a year serving the county as and AmeriCorps in the sexual assault and family violence field.
