EVANSTON — The following crimes have recently been reported in the Bridger Valley, according to a release by Uinta County Law Enforcement.
The Lyman Police Department received a theft report on Dec. 17. Baby Jesus was stolen from a nativity scene from a Lyman residence. The release stated, “It is particularly disheartening to the owners to be in their yard and only have an empty cradle where the baby Jesus used to lay.”
A similar theft was reported on Dec. 18, very near to the first theft. Three wooden carolers were stolen from another Lyman residence. They are very unique and have been in the family for many years.
