Republican gubernatorial primary debates

RIVERTON — Republican candidates running for the office of Wyoming Governor will be participating in a series of public debates Thursday, July 12, in the auditorium of the Wyoming National Guard Joint Forces Readiness Center in Cheyenne.

There will be two one-hour debates. The first debate will begin at 7 p.m., and the second debate will begin at 8 p.m. Candidates have been placed in either the first or second debate based on results of an independent poll conducted by the University of Wyoming Survey Research Center. The top three polling candidates, which will debate at 7 p.m., are Sam Galeotos, Mark Gordon and Harriet Hageman. The remaining three candidates will debate at 8 p.m. They are Bill Dahlin, Foster Friess and Taylor Haynes.

Both debates are open to the public and will be streamed live at www.wyomingpbs.org. They will also be broadcast live on WyomingPBS and Wyoming Public Radio Thursday July 12 beginning at 7p.m. They will repeat on WyomingPBS Sunday July 15, at 11 a.m. and noon., respectively, and will be broadcast on WyomingPBS Create Saturday, July 14, at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively.
